| Characteristics: | Lala is an F1 ewe. Although she is not a purebred Valais Blacknose like Lorelei, we decided to keep her in our Valais Blacknose breeding program, not only because her markings are in the right direction of what a purebred Valais Blacknose should look like, but mainly because of her affectionate character. Lala is one in a thousand. She loves to be petted under her chin, she doesn't mind to be picked up and carried around and she will sit and sleep on our lap. It's actually difficult to take a picture of her because she keeps moving out of frame to be closer to the person taking the picture! Lala's mom Maaa is a pure Shropshire ewe and has similar personality traits. When breeding sheep we believe selecting on character traits is just as important as selection based on physical attributes. |

| Characteristics: | Lavender was born a triplet. Lavender and her two sisters (Lily and Lilac) were all bottle-fed in addition to their mother's milk. Lavender had the curliest wool of all our F1 lambs of 2023 and was very social towards us from the start so we decided to keep this sweetheart. |
