Tribble Ranch is also home to two Highland cows: Massie and Fergus. Fergus is a dun-colored Highland bull and Massie is a traditional red Highland cow.
On Februari 1st, 2023 their first heifer calf was born! We named her Fernie.
Although we absolutely love Fernie and Highland cows, we are not planning to expand our fold
so Fernie is currently looking for a new home. Please contact us for pricing.

| Characteristics: | Fernie will be black when she grows up. She may look a bit dun-colored now, but this will transition into black as is already evident from her nose.
Massie and Fergus are both fairly small Highland cows which means Fernie may be catergorized as a mini Highland cow. Time will tell how tall she gets.
Fernie loves a good rub under her chin, is used to other farm animals as well as our livestock guardian dog Ezri and is gentle with children. She will be ready to go to a new home in August 2023. We have started halter training with her which should be completed by the time she goes to a new home. |
